How to Connect Your Instagram Account to Innsty

Ready to automate your Instagram? Great! Connecting your account to Innsty takes just a few minutes. Let me walk you through it step by step.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• An Instagram Business or Creator account (personal accounts won't work)
• Your Instagram login credentials handy

Don't have a Business account yet? No worries—you can switch in your Instagram settings under "Account" → "Switch to Professional Account."

Step 1: Create Your Innsty Account

Head to innsty.com and click "Get Started Free." Enter your email and create a password. You'll get a confirmation email—click the link to verify.

Step 2: Go to Accounts

Once you're logged into your Innsty dashboard, click on "Accounts" in the sidebar. This is where all your connected Instagram accounts will appear.

Step 3: Click "Connect Account"

Hit the "Connect Account" button. You'll be redirected to Instagram's official login page.

Step 4: Log In to Instagram

Enter your Instagram username and password directly on Instagram's secure login page. This uses Instagram's official OAuth—we never see or store your password.

Step 5: Authorize Permissions

Instagram will ask you to grant Innsty permission to:

• Access your basic account information
• Manage messages on your behalf
• Read and reply to comments

Click "Allow" to authorize. These permissions are required for automation to work.

You're All Set!

Your Instagram account is now connected. You'll see it appear in your Accounts list with your profile picture, follower count, and other details. From here, you can set up AI auto-replies for DMs and comments.

Quick Tips

• Multiple accounts? Just click "Connect Account" again for each one
• Refresh your profile — Use the refresh button anytime to update your stats
• Token expired? You'll see a "Reconnect" button if your access expires
