Shopify / WooCommerce note

Innsty doesn’t have a native Shopify integration. Instead, paste your bestseller list and product info into the AI knowledge base. For most small and medium stores, this is enough — the AI handles 80% of questions without needing live product sync. For huge catalogs (10,000+ SKUs), a tool with native sync like Chatfuel may be more convenient.

Frequently asked questions

Does Innsty integrate with Shopify?

Not with a native integration. You paste product info into the knowledge base and the AI answers from it. For stores under ~500 SKUs this is usually enough.

Can the AI handle order status questions?

We recommend NOT having the AI answer order status directly — instead, configure it to always send customers to your order lookup page. This avoids showing wrong info if the data gets stale.

What about handling complaints?

The AI can acknowledge complaints warmly and route them to a human. Set a rule like: if the message contains "broken", "damaged", "complaint", "refund", send a text saying a team member will follow up within 24 hours.

Can I run different rules for different product lines?

Each Instagram account has its own rules, prompt, and knowledge base. If you have separate brand accounts for different product lines, each can be automated independently.
